Our mission is to help support high school graduates with exceptional promise in the medium of sound. The fund seeks individuals who are dedicated to their talents, committed to continue their education and share some of the personal traits of Jake: enthusiasm for the creation of music, an appetite for adventure and an unending love for his friends, family and community.

Covid and the variants continued to plague the world, creating havoc and uncertainty across the world. The live entertainment sector again takes a huge hit, making any fundraising events and concerts extremely difficult for us and every artist. Even with all the strife, JFMAF/JAS awarded 4 scholarships to graduating seniors, 2 - Aspen, 1 - Basalt and 1 - Glenwood Springs High. It was of paramount importance to the JFMAF/JAS team to make sure the Scholarship Fund survived during an insurmountable test for all students across the country and the world.
